Starting my MBA, I was immediately overwhelmed by the seemingly endless ways to fill my time. Networking, internship searching, socializing, meeting new people, and studying. This constant hustle was draining. Was there another way to orient myself and my time that allowed for more space and exploration?

This website is a window into my research project that came as a result of this question and experience at Haas. I hope you'll keep scrolling and clicking through to learn more!

Looking for new ways to approach my grad program, I looked to leaders outside of the business world that I admired. I started with adrienne marie brown's Emergent Strategy and marveled at how, through this lens, change could be regenerative and healing rather than extractive and draining. Brown uses natural systems as a guide. Could these same systems help orient myself in a business and workplace setting?

As I started school, I returned to art as another way to ground myself. The physical nature of printmaking and painting, layering images and color to build a composition, also oriented me in my research. I moved slower and more thoughtfully as I took in my natural surroundings and translated it into my own imagined world.

All the images and prints that you see
throughout this site are my own work :)

In this pandemic world, your guess is as good as mine! But having graduated from my MBA program, I have a vision for myself and of the workforce that allows for more time and space for personal development, reflection, and regeneration. Can people prioritize their own work styles and needs while moving forward with larger organizational goals, metrics and priorities?

With imagination, time, and support,
I firmly believe, yes!
